Surgery went well/Med port out

Hi this is Nancy,

Wanda is doing well and is resting. She has had a long day and glad to be resting at my house. Miss Madison made sure her Mee Mee was well taken care of. She would go with me to the room to check on her and would sign sleep and shhh.

Thank you so much for all the calls and visits at the hospital as well as a special thank you to our niece Sarah who went with us and stayed all day. As we had to get up EARLY and we left my home at 4;00am.

Thanks so much for all the prayers, Nancy

Reconstruction Surgery Scheduled

I am having the surgery on the 31st of July at 7:30 am at Plano Medical Center. This will be contingent on my blood work that I will be having on the 24th. If all is well I will be getting silicone implants. They will also be taking my port out as well which is really great news.

I just want to say thank you to all my friends and family that have stood by my side during this difficult time in my life. I love each of you with all my heart. I feel so blessed to be entering this stage of my fight against breast cancer.

God bless each of you,
Wanda

I am working a little more still not quite up to speed. I will soon be scheduled for my reconstruction surgery(boobs).
I again want to say thank you for all of your prayers and support.
God bless all of you,Wanda

OH WHAT A WONDERFUL FEELING

Hello this is Nancy; I just wanted to share with you a story about OUR SURVIVOR.

We went to the relay for life and we got to see my sister walk around the track in a purple survivor shirt. What a feeling that was. Her son Kyle was their and we said that we were so blessed to see her wearing a purple shirt. It was such an emotional time for us as we walked the care giver lap with her. We were so proud watching her as she pushed her Madie girl around the track.

Seeing her walk the survivor lap was just a great accomplishment in her battle with cancer. As their were times around Christmas when she was so very sick . She is such a courageous person and I am so proud to say she is my sister.

God bless each of you, Nancy

Madie singing a song for Aunt Mee Mee

I am so happy for my aunt Mee Mee that I wanted to sing her a song.
