CHEMO TREATMENT # 8

On Monday the 25th I will go for my LAST CHEMO TREATMENT. YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so looking forward to Monday as my hair should start growing back.
I then will start radiation treatments afterwards,I haven't found out how long after Chemo that I will have to wait.
Please pray for me as I am really really nervous about starting radiation treatments as with anything you hear good and bad stories. I am scared about my skin burning and just having alot of anxiety. I have to go every workday for six and a half weeks. This just seems like a really big mountain to climb, but I know that I have already completed a big part of my journey.
Please pray for my finances as I did not have cancer bills budgeted nor the time I have had to be off work. This has been a very difficult time for me and I want to thank my friends and family once again for walking beside me in this journey.
God Bless each of you, love Wanda

A STORY ABOUT WANDA

Hello,

My name is Nancy, I am Wanda's younger sister. I cannot say little sister as I am bigger than her. She got our moms cute little figure and I got dads tall and not so cute figure. Anyway, on with my story about my wonderful sister Wanda. I want to share how Wanda was so so supportive and caring during a difficult time in my life. I found out that I was pregnant in may of 2003 and Wanda was so happy for me.

During my pregnancy she checked on me all the time. When I was 26 week along I had to go on bed rest. Wanda stayed with me a lot of the time and sometimes on very little sleep. She went to appointments with me and just helped me so much. My complications continued and the baby was still born at 32 weeks. Wanda stayed at the hospital the entire time and only left to change clothes.
She helped me through my grieving process and provided so much support. On the the first year anniversary she wrote a special note in the newspaper about our precious little Allyson Grace that we never got the chance to know.

I just cannot say enough on how she was there for me during that time. I then became pregnant again in 2005 and on 1-25-06 gave birth to the Madie who is in the picture with Wanda on the chemo update post.

I just wanted to share how special Wanda is to me and how that I admire her so much.
She is being so strong during her difficult time and I hope that I can do for her what she did for me.
Love you, Nancy
